We’re Waukegan & Gurnee Auto Body, and we've been a leading full-service auto body shop here in Gurnee, IL, since 1987. We pride ourselves on customer service and work to deliver top-quality workmanship that you can rely on. We specialize in collision repair and unibody work, but we also work on classic cars. (This review was also posted on 'YELP'. ) ...This was our first time using Waukegan & Gurnee Auto Body. We had some rear-end bumper damage due to an inattentive driver's impact at a stop light. I did some serious research of reviews on local car repair shops looking for someone with a decent reputation. Waukegan & Gurnee Auto Body caught my eye so I gave them a call and brought the car over for an estimate. Tom Vepley, the owner, explained what he would do, gave us a written estimate, and we set a date for the repair. After they removed the bumper, Tom asked us to come back to the shop to look at a problem they found related to a prior bumper repair (from a different body shop) done several years ago. Following a discussion of what could be done and, getting our approval, the bumper was repaired. The job was completed a day earlier than expected and we were very satisfied with the completed job. We highly recommend this business if you want a reasonable estimate, personal service, and quality work.

I had some rust starting around the rear inner jams on bolth sides and trunk. I wanted to have it repaired before it spread. Tom went into detail on what he was going to do. When I picked my car up I was very satisfied with the repairs it looked bran new. I would highly recommend Tom and his team im very happy with there work.
